Beauty Holy Grail - 2017
You're back!...as am I.
Over the past couple of days I have taken you through my daily routine and my skincare routine, so I thought I'd end the week with my "Holy Grail" products.
** Disclaimer, I am no makeup artist I didn't even know what highlight was this time last year!**
Let's work from Base up to the fake up.
Primer: I've only ever used one, and that's Too Faced, Hangover Rx. I like how refreshing and hydrating this primer is with it's infused coconut water. I don't know if it's the best out there, but it sure works for me! Let me know what your favourites are.
Foundation: I am in love with my YSL, touch eclat. I have played around with various foundations from high end to high street. Although there are some great high street brands (honourable mentions to Physicians Formula and L'Oreal). However there is something about this formula that leaves my skin feeling light and airy.
Concealer: This one is an easy choice, It Cosmetics "Bye Bye Undereye". This formula is SUPER thick and high coverage. A little bit goes a long way, my friend picked this up for me when she went down to the states back in October and I still have the majority of the tube left.
Powder: I don't have a favourite powder I've only been using Sephora's light powder. I am currently looking for a better one.
Bronzer: I prefer matte bronzers over shimmer bronzers. In the summer I gravitated to Urban Decay's Beached Bronzer, however I would say my consistent favourite is Too Faced's Chocolate Soleil in the shade medium/deep. I usually use this as my contour as well.
Blush: This changes seasonally, but I never get sick of my Marc Jacobs Air Brush Blush in the shade Lines and Last Night. On one end it has a lovely coral tone and on the opposite side it has a nude-y tone so this blush really could take you through every look.
Highlight: This item is the whole reason I got into makeup and that is Becca's Moonstone powder highlight. Gives me such a gorgeous glow and stunning shine. I emptied out the entire pan!!
Eyeshadow: My favourite eyeshadows vary on my newest palette, however I do have a favourite eyeshadow within each palette. Current faves are: Primavera, Burnt Orange and Marina by Anastasia Beverly Hills, Cobbler and Peach Pit by Too Faced.
Brows: I am by far the laziest person when it comes to brows...all I use is Anastasia Beverly Hills Clear Brow Gel.
Lips: Probably my favourite part! Just like my bronzer, I love my lips matte. I was introduced to Colour Pop back in the fall and have been obsessed with the formula ever since. Not sure if I could pick a colour. I would however highly recommend any of the Ultra Matte Lips.
