Jilly Spring Box - 2021

Spring is here! And so is the Jilly Box.

To be honest I keep going back and forth, deciding if I want to continue with the subscription, but knowing how limited it is keeps me on the hook! #FOMO is real.

If there was a theme to this box, it would clearly be self-care. While I’m all for taking a little RnR there were a couple of items I could have done without.

As a subscription box receipient you got the choice of a robe or nightie from Riot Theory. This is when I wish there was an add-on option because I would have gladly chosen both over a couple of the other items in the box. I ended up going with the nightie, which is super-soft and a lovely robin’s egg blue with white polka dots. I do like the fact it’s a touch longer in the back to ensure it covers my bum…but at this point in the game who’s even around to look Ha!

The next “big ticket” item in this box was an electric toothbrush from Bruush. It’s a gorgeous light blush, however, I already have a Phillips Sonicare I have been loving for years, so at the moment it’s just sitting in the box at the top of my wardrobe.

Another bathroom item was the Indaba: White Heart Bath Mat. This was a cute item to have in a box, as I haven’t seen it before and it’s useful! I’m all for using as many products as possible when it comes subscription boxes.

For wellness products, the Jilly box was stacked with goodies including Aura Inner Beauty’s Radiance Powder, and if you’ve been following along you know I love their products! If you wanted to give Aura a try use the code HOLLY10 to save you 10%! I recommend the coconut collagen, and of course the Radiance Powder.

Herbaland Collagen Booster Gummies were another wellness item in the box, and if I wasn’t so committed to my Collagen routine already I would be tempted to swap out as they are delicious but, I do look forward to my coconut coffee every morning, and I don’t plan on changing anytime soon…I’m a creature of habit.

JB Skin Savvi Face Masques are the final wellness product in this box, I have only used one since receiving the box, and while I have no complaints, I don’t typically go for a sheet masque nor was it exceptional enough to convince me to re-purchase.

The final item of the box was a “Hello Beautiful” decal, initially I wasn’t thrilled by a “sticker” but after speaking to someone from Urban Walls by complete happistance, I became aware of the effort it takes to create these products, and was more appreciative of the decal…still not sure where I’m doing to place it, perhaps on my mirror — like most.

That’s a wrap for this season’s Jilly Box, what are your thoughts? Should I keep going…
