We’re catching up! You know the deal - It’s Ipsy Bag Time.

If you can’t see by the photo here’s what was inside the June Ipsy Bag:

Full Size Give Them Lala Mascara - as it’s later than usual for posting we’ve had time to test. This is a great lengthening mascara and doesn’t flake a ton. It is quite a runny formula compare to the more typical “clumpy” volumizing mascaras. This was our selection item for this month.

• We have a lip oil from Ciaté, while we did say we like lip balms/oils on our profile this is month 3 of getting one, and we already know there’s another one coming in July…I think it’s time to say enough. (and no these were not all “selected” items).

• The concealer from the Balm, is way too dark to be a concealer, as it’s the summer we’ve managed to use it as foundation however it has us confused when it comes to our profile — In April we had a fair blonde eyebrow pencil, and now we have a too dark of a shade of concealer….

• We’ve given the Kinship Glycolic resurfacing serum a couple tries - and it’s been forgotten, for no reason in particular aside from the fact we already have so many lotions and potions open and being used.

• Lastly we have the Elemis resurfacing facial wash, Elemis is a well loved brand around here so this was a happy surprise.

  The one comment we’ve curious about is in our “profile” we have said the have dry/normal skin with a need for hydration and most of the time resurfacing products are designed to help with problematic/oily skin to help clear out any issues.

Now time for July’s selection: we are always partial to tools, so we selected the SLMISSGLAM Orange Concealer Brush, and have also redeemed some points for additional goodies.

As for the beauty graveyard, things that have been left behind since March include: Glow on 5th Porefect Mud Mask, which hasn’t even been opened yet and the Give Them Lala Bronzer that has been pushed to the back since the arrival of the ABH bronzer in May.
