Lemon Girl - Menu

For our lemon-y hosts we’re picturing her sipping on a glass of lemon water as she prepares in the kitchen — she knows sipping on this will help with digestion and hydration, she’ll also put a carafe on the table during dinner.

As for cocktails, simplicity is key, but she’ll offer two cocktails that look intentional and complicated.

Limoncello & Tonic

  • 1.5oz of Limoncello, top up with Tonic Water (we like Fever Tree)

  • Garnishes include, spring of rosemary or olive on a pick

Limoncello & Raspberry Spritz

  • 1.5oz of Limoncello, top with Prosecco

  • Muddled Raspberries at the bottom of goblet

Bonus Lemon Spritz Here!

On The Dinner Menu, It’s a super simple Lemon & Arugula Salad with Lemon Garlic Chicken and For Dessert Lemon Posset.

Lemon & Arugula (or Rocket) salad:

  • Lemon Juice

  • Arugula

  • Olive Oil

  • Parmesan

  • Black Ground Pepper

Depending on your party size the ratios vary, we suggest doing it lemon girl style and just going with your gut.

For Dinner, we selected the Roasted Garlic Butter Chicken with Lemon Dressing from Half Baked Harvest, because who doesn’t love a sheet pan dinner that tastes absolutely incredible. We’ve provided the link here for you to visit!

And of course there’s always room for dessert!

Lemon Posset is probably one of the easiest desserts, next to Eton Mess and Fresh Fruit. Here’s what you need:

  • Heavy Cream (aprx 475ml)

  • 4 Lemons (to make 6 possets)

  • 3/4 Cup of Sugar

  • 5 Tablespoons of Lemon Juice (which you can take from the scooped out lemon & zest of 1 which is why you need 4 lemons presentation is key)

Heat Cream & Sugar slowly to a boil, once hit boiling point take off the heat and add you lemon, let it rest for 10mins and then pour into Lemon Shells, place in fridge from anywhere from 1 hr to overnight. If you want to get fancy you can garnish with: mint, berries or cream.
