Strangers Starbucks Orders
Hello Blondies!
As COVID has put a bit of a damper on most summer plans I thought I would create my own summer entertainment…as I already have a Starbucks Addiction I thought I would be fun to experiment and see what other people love at Starbucks so for the next week I decided to go through the drive through and simply order what the person in front me ordered.
Day 1: Monday June 22, it is a gorgeous 26 degree day (celcius for all my American Friends), so I was secretly hoping for a cold drink…and it was! They ordered a Venti Vanilla Cream Cold Brew Light Ice…which not going to lie is something I would order on a day like this! Out of 10, I would give it a 10 because I don’t know what else I would of ordered, now for my friends with more of a sweet tooth I would rate this a 5-6 on the sweet scale.
Day 2: Tuesday June 23, Happy #NationalPinkDay, while I don’t have a ton of pink in my closet I did manage to find a few pink things, including my tweed romper from Zara last summer that had pink stitching and a pink scrunchie from Roseling handmade. As the weather, while overcast, was still warm I was secretly hoping for a pink drink so I could appropriately plug it over on Instagram…that unfortunately was not the case. Today’s drink ended up being a Grande Pike with 3 2% Milk and 3 Splenda….yuck. Super Super Sweet, if I am to get a plain ol coffee from Starbucks is typically dark roast, and black, on occasion will I add my own WithIn Us Coconut Creamer Powder. The coffee…while I tried to drink most of it, is still sitting beside me half full on my desk. On the plus side, I made friends! The girls at the drive thru were super sweet, and I promised I would come by same time tomorrow…fingers crossed it’ll be up my alley. On the sweet scale I would say it’s 9-10/10!
Day 3: Wednesday June 24. Today I come to you wired with caffeine! Not only did I have an Americano (my choice) while I was waiting for my car to get repaired, I then went through the drive thru, as promised to get not one but 2 drinks, along with Starbucks’ Chicken Chimchurri Sandwich. Today’s drinks were a Venti Triple Latte, and a Grande Flat White No Foam…both drinks I would order myself although I believe Venti’s come with 4 Shots of Espresso so why someone would volunteer to deduct caffeine from their diet is beyond me. On the sweet scale we are looking at a 2, which suits me alot better than yesterdays drink! My girls were there at the window to greet me with my mystery order, which has become a fun experiment for all of us, can’t wait to see them tomorrow…might just have to make this a weekly thing for the summer, what do you think?!
Day 4: Thursday June 25, As I drove into the drive thru today the person had just finished ordering so it was a super quick trip today, and unfortunately they weren’t very exciting… it was the same order as Monday, just a grande instead of Venti, better luck tomorrow!
Day 5: Friday June 26, Today’s order was a Hibiscus Passion Fruit Refresher, which was great as today was quite warm so it was nice to have a cool refreshing drink, while the car in front of me did have 2 people in it they order the same thing so the girls at thr drive thru were kind enough to only make me one realising that it probably wasn’t necessary for me to drink two of the same thing.
Day 6: BONUS DAY. Saturday June 27, I thought about doing this for a little while longer as I like the surprise plus it doesn’t leave me having to choose what to drink. But today felt like ground hog day as again the people in front of me ordered double, although todays drink was a coconut Cascada Latte which was nice as it wsa a little cooler today.
Monday June 29, I went for a bit of a road trip with a friend of mine today, she used to work at starbucks so I thought it would be fun to let her choose my drink, she also chose a Coconut Cascada latte then left it up to the girls in the store to add whatever they desired, they added 1/2 pump of toffee nut and 1/2 pump of white mocha which was DELICIOUS so shout out to whoever added that twist!
Tuesday June 30, I put it out on Instagram to se who wanted to choose my drink next and I got a response which was the Guava Coconut Drink but with Peach instead of Guava, if you like sweet this is the drink for you, super refreshing and light.
