Add These To Your February TBR List:

We’ve Rated Some Of Our Favourite Love Stories, Perfect For Valentine’s Day

(or any day really)

We’ve decided to give you a scale on our favourite modern-day love stories:

If you’re looking for a cute love story with unexpected twists and turns, we recommend The No Show by Beth O’Leary. We’ve also read, the Switch, the Flat Share (now on Paramount+) and the Road Trip and everyone turns out just as unexpected as the first. It’s also been announced that she’ll release one more book this year called the Wake-Up Call.

While we can’t quite believe it’s been over 15 years since P.S. I love you was adapted into a movie, we feel that Where The Rainbow Ends deserves some recognition as well — it may not sound familiar but the 2014 movie Love, Rosie was adapted from this book and is available to watch on Prime Video.

Emily Henry has not only become trending on Booktok but also captures our hearts, from People We Meet on Vacation to Beach Read and now with her latest book Happy Place arriving April 2023.

Christina Lauren is a pen name for two friends (Christina and Lauren) who know how to write a captivating love story. The first book I read from them was Something Wilder, which was a steamy western, but TikTok (again) tempted us to read Love & Other Words, a love story for the ages (literally goes through a 15-year friendship). Their latest book The True Love Experiment arrives in May 2023.

Last but certainly not least…and by far the steamiest was Things We Never Got Over by Lucy Score. Don’t let the cover fool you this is a spicy little number and while I love a good audiobook, this one is probably better left with words on the page, especially if you have little ears around. We fell in love with Knox and “Daisy” and can’t wait for the follow-up Things We Hide From The Light, following Knox’s brother Nash’s story.
