Causebox Spring - 2020
Hello Blondies!
As subscription renewal season is here I thought I would change it up from FabFitFun and try Causebox. I first bought a single season of Causebox Winter 2015 I believe it was and while I like some of the items, it wasn’t enough to make me want more.
However after taking a sebaticle in 2016 from subscription boxes, I decided to give FFF a second try in 2017 and continued until now.
With sustainability being a big focus I thought I would give Causebox another try as they focus on sustainable and ethically made products. It is the same price as the FabFitFun box however it does have one less product, but it’s worth the trade off in my opinion.
After looking through the previous season’s boxes I decided to fully commit and purchase the entire year so that I could have the options to pick colours and designs of future items!
Now onto the good stuff….
First was Pixie Mood Zoe Crossbody Bag in either black, grey or honey this is an $80 CAN value. I chose the black because I love my neutrals, however it turns out someone else quite liked it too… so I guess this will be turning into a mother’s day present. There are more colours available on the Pixie Mood website, too if you’re interested, if you want more Mother’s Day suggestions check out my curated gift guide!
Next was a Bento Box, which is perfect for work, school and in my case travel…I always want a snack I can easily take on the go and this box is perfect for that. There are multiple colours to choose from including sunflower and cloud…I of course chose blush. This retails for $21.07 CAN.
This next one we had an option between Fosterie Layered Gem Necklace - or mascara and eyelash serum. I went with the necklace, I love it and it’s beautiful however my jewlery collection has expanded quite a bit over the past year so I have decided to keep it in the giveaway/present box.
This next option was difficult because I wanted both, the only thing I wish Causebox did that FabFitFun does is allow add-ons I would have easily added on the scarf, however I decided to go with the self care planner as I am always trying to make my life that much more organized, only downside is that it is for 13 weeks instead of an entire year. The journal retails for $30USD.
All subscribers will also recieve,
Aqua Aura Reparative Eye Cream by Earth Harbor which retails for $34.00USD this is designed to help with hydration, dark circles and fine lines and wrinkles. Another beauty item that was in this box was the Calm Mood Mist by Cardea Auset, this retails for $30CAD, I personally love this relaxing scent, it’s perfect to spray over your bed and pillows before bed. They must of had a busy spring as Cardea Auset also had an item in the Jilly Box which you can take a peak through as well.
The last item was a set of 5 artisian direct grocery bags I couldn’t find a retail value for this but they are super handy when it comes to picking up fresh fruit and veg!
That’s all from my first Causebox, what do you think? Worth the switch? Worth one less product?
Let me know on insta or in the comments!
Big Love, thebrokeblonde xo
