If you’ve been following along, the relationship I have with the Jilly Box is a complicated one mixed with thrill, disappointment, choke hold excitement, FOMO and JOMO (joy of missing out).
When the team a Jilly Box, released the sized item — I decided it was worth the gamble for the Fall box, plus the one consistent thing over the years has been Fall always knocks it out of the park.
Downside: the sized item wasn’t a selection choice, it was a random selection of 1/4. I had 2 I was hoping for, 1 I wouldn’t mind and 1 I really didn’t want… so with 75% chance of getting one I’d wear I thought it was worth the chance…lucky for me I ended up getting my first choice!
While all the products in this box were much better, and useful than the ones from the spring (IYKYK) — if it wasn’t for the dress I don’t know if I would of gone for it, but I do love how useful these products are!
We’ll go from small to big:
Crystal Salt & Pinch Pot are a cute little kitchen addition, and the Grocery List makes it weekly meal planning that much easier. For someone who loves being in the Kitchen I love have “cute” small details that are still usable like the Wooden Spoon. While the tablerunner and napkins make a great addition to the dinner table however, I would of preferred to see 6 or 8 Napkins as that is usually the number of guests I have over for a meal.
The necklace was also a mystery, both were cute, but if it were up to me I would of enjoyed a simple pendant, I know beets and mushrooms are festive to the season — and the beets in particular are personal to Jillian and Tori. I originally got the beets but switched it with a friend for the mushrooms. One detail I thought was sweet was the recipe on the back of the necklace card.
The dinner bell, was probably the most useless item out the box, if you had a farm or acreage it may be worth it but for a normal home or town home — like myself it’s probably not necessary.
Onto the dress options, there were 4 as I mentioned, blue polka dot, blush pink, dark floral & orange floral — I received the blue polka dot! I also still carry the Lip Karma around with me daily.
