February Favourites - 2017
Happy Monday Blondies!
It is the last Monday of February, which means it's time to share with you all the things I have being loving and discovering this past month, I'll try to keep it brief because like myself I know some of you have a short attention span!
I am all about the snacks! It is rare that I'll sit down and eat a large meal...I am aware that it's probably not the healthiest option but oh well. For starters, I have been loving Lärabars. Theses bars have 5-7g of protein with fewer than 5 ingredients, and 210-230 calories per bar. These are great for the long days where I work for 8 hours then head off to school for another 3. I get my boxes from Costco they come in a box of 18 with two flavours. (I chose peanut butter and peanut butter chocolate chip). Lärabars are Gluten Free and GMO Free.
For a alternative drink option to water, I have been chugging Ribena, a British juice concentrate that you add in with your water. Now I know this doesn't replace water but it sure makes it taste better. If you happen to not be strolling the London Streets you can also find it at most Superstores in the International Foods section.
Onto less hydrating options, I have been loving Starbucks' new Blonde Espresso Latte with Almond Milk, the first time I had it I told everyone who would listen how much I hated it...within 24hrs I had 3 more...turns out I don't really hate it haha.
Now onto some less edible items. I have already mentioned these guys on separate occasions in various post which I will link. But I have been enjoying playing around with lip products including Bite Lip Pencils and ColourPop's Lippie Stix, I have been loving the mauve tones in particular.
Continuing on with the rose gold theme from last month, I am obsessed with my rose gold Nike's!! No I did not get them custom made...I found them in the kids section! I got them at the end of January and have been wearing them all month long. I love wearing them with my leather pants cuffed with an oversized coat. Aside from my oversized coat, I have been wearing my new swift bomber from lululemon. **Shocking it's not black! It's a gorgeous olive green!**. Another bonus to this jacket is that it's reversible. Features of Swift: Water Repellent and Locks in heat.
One more thing...I'm not sure if you'd count it as a favourite but I bought a flight ticket this month to visit one of my favourites. It's not until April but I'll do a whole Vacay segment before I head out!
Thanks for reading!
Big Love, thebrokeblonde
P.S This post isn't sponsored...I'm not big enough for that.
