Full Face Of Charlotte Tilbury Dupes

‘Tis the season of Dupes, and while the Revlon Glass Shine is sold out everywhere, we decided to find some of our favourite Charlotte Tilbury dupes for a soft glowy romantic look. Of course, to make our money go the furthest we shopped at Shoppers Drug Mart and Canadian Superstore.

We pulled most of these products from Pinterest Inspiration but being Canadian some of the products were hard/impossible to find.

Face:

Primer: Spotlight by Physicians Formula is a dupe for Charlotte Tilbury Wonderglow Face Primer

Verdict: We’re not committed to our primers but Spotlight has use reaching for it and for a third of the price of the Wonderglow we think it’s worth the dupe.

Foundation: Instant Age Rewind® Instant Perfector 4-In-1 Glow Makeup is the dupe for Charlotte Tilbury Hollywood Flawless Filter

Verdict: While the cost of the Charlotte Tilbury is double the cost per ml, we found that we were using more of the Age Rewind to get the same results, we believe this is partly due to the applicator so while it’s saving you money in the short term, we’re not convinced it would save you in a long time.

Concealer: Instant Age Rewind Eraser Dark Circles Treatment Concealer is a dupe for Charlotte Tilbury Magic Away Liquid Concealer

Verdict: We love our traditional concealers with a doe foot applicator, so we’re leaving both of these behind. Similar to the Instant foundation there’s a noticeable amount of waster when it comes to the applicator, again we think the CT concealer could last your longer but we won’t be converting.

Contour: Makeup Revolution Eye Bright Illuminating Under Eye Concealer - Chestnut

Highlight: True Match LUMI Glotion

*NYX Bronzer was unavailable near us, but we’ve been using Nars’ Laguna Bronzer, or Physician’s Formula NEW Butter Bronzer Contour Palette – Contour 1 because that’s what we have!

*We Couldn’t find the right blush, but we’re still loving our Merit Flush Balm in the shade Cheeky mentioned in our January Trends Blog Post

Lips:

Lipstick: Essence Semi-Matte in Bold

Lipstick: Revlon Matte in the shade, Pick Me Up

Lip Stain: Maybelline Superstay, Lead The Way

Verdict: All of these claim to be dupes for the pillow talk lipstick, we believe the Revlon one is the closest followed by Essence, the formula from Maybelline is too different from the OG.

*Lip Pencil: NYX has a dupe, however, we could not find it near us. Here’s what you’re looking for: Lip Liner in the shade of Peek-a-Boo. We stuck with the OG Pillow Talk Lip Pencil

Eyes:

Eyeshadow: Revlon Cream Eyeshadow, we chose the shade Praline dupe for Charlotte Tilbury Eyes to Mesmerize Cream Eyeshadow

Verdict: While the colour of Revlon is beautiful, we did notice there was some clumping/balling when blended with other shadows. We haven’t been able to give the Eyes to Mesmerize, however, we would assume the formula would be smoother.

Mascara: L’Oreal Lash Paradise has been known as a dupe for Too Faced Better Than Sex Mascara, however, it’s recently been duped for Charlotte Tilbury’s Legendary Lashes.

Verdict: While it gives a full effect, one of us did have a reaction to Lash Paradise, so for that we choose CT, but our favourite is still the CT Pillow Talk Mascara.

*Again we were unable to find NYX’s Nude Wonder Pencil, we stuck with our trusty Rock n’ Roll Kohl Eye Cheat in the universal nude.

We love adding a touch of bronzer as a base to our eye look to create depth.
