Hollydays - Abbotsford

A few weeks ago I headed for a long weekend/ mini hollyday to visit some friends of mine!

Now Abbotsford isn't a particularly busy city however, there is enough to do for a weekend, and enough to make it a busy one at that!

Here's what was on my Abbotsford Bucketlist:

Bloom tulip festival, so big and beautiful and quite mucky don't forget your boots!
Duft Bakehouse, delicious. Not much else to say except a MUST.
Spruce Collective/ Market by Spruce Collective: This shop sells gorgeous local designs and vintage furniture. I would have loved to pick up a couple pieces if I had my own place....or didn't live 9hr drive away.
Oldhand: Perfect for a cozy coffee. Reminds me of Monogram in Calgary
Pinkies Nail Salon: Affordable yet beautiful nail salon, I would highly recommend it for an occasion or a girls day out.
Ivana Teahouse: Cozy little teahouse, with a wide range of sweet and savoury treats with ample of complimentary teas.
Montrose + George: A local contemporary boutique with gorgeous brands it was hard not to buy the entire store, I managed to have a bit of self control, I bought a plaid shirt from Gentle Fawn, which is also available online or at Apt22 Downtown Calgary
Lepp Market: This local market sells the most delicious locally made juice from The Habit Project.
Cascade Falls: Just outside of Abbotsford in Mission there is a set of falls, a quick little jaunt up the path and you'll find yourself to a beautiful landscape of greenery and falls. Don't forget your wellies!!
Next is S+L Kitchen + Bar, Brunch by day, Steak by night. I enjoyed a delicious Sunday brunch here, there were plenty of options with affordable pricing.
Lastly is if you are lucky enough to pick a time where there is a concert on I would highly suggest it, for those who are used to big stadiums like the Saddledome you'll be presently surprised to see how far your dollar will go. Plus the beer is 6.50 instead of 8.50!
