Hollydays - Vegas Baby

Warning: This is not your typical Las Vegas Trip, you may now proceed.

I have never ever ever booked a trip so last minute in my life! But was it worth it - Totally!

Me and one of my girlfriends decided on Sunday night we would head to LA for a girls trip... after looking at far too many over priced hostels due to cochella and stagecoach we decided to head over to Vegas!

Booking tickets 12hrs before I think is the ultimate definition of last minute.

It was only once we boarded the plan we decided to book a hotel and car, turns out you can get some really great last minute deals!

We stayed at the Rio just off the strip for $45/night and rented a car from Hotwire ... once we got to the rental lot we decided to upgrade to a convertible, brand new shiny black mustang... only problem was no license plate, unfortunately we only noticed this after we had left and gone shopping, so back to the lot we went, and they couldn’t find a plate so we had to trade it in, what a hassle!! We ended up with a Silver Camero SS Which was fun to drive around but as it was a little older it was missing some of the bells and whistles the mustang had, but we survived haha.

Day 2:

We had a relatively early start, we decided to go on a hike through Valley of Fire but first doughnuts.

Once we got into the park it had already reached 40 degrees Celsius so we didn’t do as many as we had originally planned but I was still gorgeous and thankfully no rattle snakes were found!

We got back to our hotel late afternoon so we freshened up and went to visit the 7 Magic Mountains just before sunset and then we went to Umami for dinner!

Day 3:

Was a little more relaxed, we spent the morning at Target... because why not, then lounged by the pool. Later in the afternoon we booked a tour with Neon Boneyard which was cool seeing all the broken and old signs of Las Vegas.

For dinner we went to PF Chang’s ... you kind of need too when your in the states.

After dinner we picked up a Alcoholic Slushie from Purple Zebra and then hopped in a über and found ourselves at Fremont Street and Gambling a whole $2 away... needless to say we weren’t very successful.

Day 4:

We spent our final morning cruising around and do as much shopping as our suitcases would let us and then headed back to the airport.

There are definitely a few more things I’d like to go back and do but overall it was a super fun girls trip!

Do you have any suggestions on what to do in Vegas - let me know!

Big Love, thebrokeblonde xo
