Ipsy Bag - October
Lucky number 7 and it’s time to unbox this spook-ta-cular ipsy bag, after last month’s glitch (if you haven’t read my thoughts on September you can do so here), we’re back to loving the majority of the products in this month’s bag.
For those of you unfamiliar with Ipsy here’s the breakdown it’s approximately $22 CAN/Month (including exchange rate and shipping), you’ll get 5 deluxe size samples…occasionally a full-size product, along with a themed bag that can be reused as a makeup bag or re-gifting.
Each month as a member you can select one item you’re guaranteed to have in your bag, this month I chose the FENTY Fat Water Pore-Refining Toner Serum with Niacinamide.
Niacinamide is suitable for Dry, Combo, and Oily skin types and helps with Signs of aging, fine lines, hyperpigmentation, and redness.
Next in my bag, this month is: It Cosmetics, Confidence In Your Beauty Sleep Night Cream this 7ml jar is great for travel and is enough for you to try and make a decision whether or not this product is best for you. As for make-up bits, this bag included REALHER Brow Setting Gel in EYE AM COMPLETE, if you’ve read any other posts you’ll know I don’t really touch my brows, but if it’s anything it is a clear gel so I am happy to get this in the bag. One item I will be donating is V KOSMETIK, Liquid Lip in the shade Faith. I have enough lippies for the moment and I’m particular about which ones I use, so rather than giving it a go and letting it fall into the makeup graveyard, I will add it on as a little gift to someone who will enjoy it…It’s time to start collecting those stocking stuffers and secret Santa gifts!
As I mentioned above you’ll occasionally get a full-size product in your bag and this month I got ELF’s BIG MOOD mascara funny enough I was influenced by Tati to try it earlier this year and it has now run dry, so the timing couldn’t be better!
And to recap what I’ve been using from previous bags to now…I was pretty impressed with August and I’m still using 4/5 products including the primer, which is a rarity for me. The only thing I haven’t used is the LASTING SMILES, Peach Blossom Lip Balm for the same reason this month’s Liquid lip will also not be used. I have enough already.
