July Favourites - 2019
Happy July!
I feel like I’ve been chatting your ear off about all things beauty as of late so I thought for June I would change it up and share my non beauty faves and in a couple of weeks I’ll do a semi annual empties post.
June is definitely the rainiest season of the year over on my side of the planet so I have been doing a little too much binge watching including the What If series starring Renée Zellweger and Trinkets.
With Netflix comes treats and I have been shamelessly stuffing my face with the new Sour Patch Kids Mango flavoured candy. Another guilty pleasure are the Whatchmacallit candy bars from the states. To my knowledge they’re unavailable in Canada but during my visit to New York earlier this month I picked up a couple more...which have magically disappeared.
To balance out the sweets, I also did my very first juice cleanse with Jusu which you can read about here. I talk about all then juices in depth in the designated post but I do want to give a special shout out to my faves, Hawkeye and Green Machine which are included in the Easy Cleanse, and Beauty Queen which you can buy any time of year. As we’re heading into stampede I’m thinking about kicking things up a notch by making some cocktails with Jusu’s seasonal juice Strawberry Mojito and Blue Lagoon, are you interested? Keep your eyes peeled, I’m working on it!
Onto some more daily routine products. I have recently been using Rio de Janerio Brazilian 4 Play Shower Gel from my summer FabFitFun box. It makes my skin feel so luxurious and hydrated and it smells like summer holidays in a bottle.
Although summer is technically here I have been stuck inside working so I have been grabbing my sun as much as I can on weekend and during my sunnatan organic spray tan sessions with Eyla Beuaty.
When I do get a chance to sit in the sun I love having company with a great glass of wine and a book. I typically have a few on the go at once and this month I have been reading, where’d you go Bernadette and The Financial Diet.
I’m thinking about creating a book list so that you can get inspired if you’re ever looking for a new read. Would you want to join me via an online book club? Let me know in the comments!
Big Love, thebrokeblonde xo
