July Ipsy Bag - 2022

Ok! I Jumped! I committed to full year of Ipsy. So I’ll let you know in a years time if I think it was worth it.

But this month, yet again has not disappointed. My selection was the TRENDBEAUTY, Luminosity Eyeshadow Palette as it was filled with warm neutrals - my go-to when it comes to eyes. This is considered a fullsize and retails for $13 USD.

Next is Benefits, Bag Gal Bang Mascars which I have used in the past and was one of my favourites until I started using Charlotte Tilbury’s Pillow Talk. Will I fall back in love? We’ll find out, but either was it’s a great mascara to have on hand! While this is my second masacara in two months, the trial size is always good to have in a handbag, gifted to a friend or even just saving you the extra $$ on not having to replenish your stock right away.

The rest of the items this month are barands I would call boutique, or at least I haven’t heard of them…perhaps I just live under a rock, or I’m just spending too much time with my head in the clouds.

First is from COMPLEX CULTURE, Kiss Bliss Lip Gloss in Euphoria (pictured above). As I mentioned before I’m all about the neutrals so I’m glad I got this shade, because when I scrolled through the entire product list there was also a shade called: Joy De Vivre, which is a much deeper rouge, so I was happy with the selected shade — this is why when you sign up for Ipsy it’s important to fill out the survey so they can filter through the criteria you put in place. Plus this is also a fullsize product which retails for $18 USD, covering the entire cost of the bag!

This has been the first bag where I haven’t got any beauty tools, but I did get skincare and body products.

I got the deluxe size of the BANILA CO, Clean It Zero Cleansing Balm Revitalizing which I’m looking forward to traveling with not only do I like balms for travel to avoid any leaks but the size is also good, because if I use it up, it’s one less thing to bring home.

The last item for this month is deluxe sample 30ml hand cream from PEAR NOVA in the scent Coconut & Eucalyptus, I can smell the beach from here!

That’s all I have for this month!

Two months later, what products am I still using?

As I look back on May’s bag, I am still using 3 of the products, the MOTD COSMETICS Killer Pair Classic Slant Tip Tweezers which were my pick has come in handy, and I’m still using AWAKE BY TARTE™ Lip Therapy Lip Mask. The biggest curve ball was the TRESLÚCE BEAUTY Ready To Bounce Cream Blush in the shade: Date Night. I have been reaching for this shade all summer.

The forgotten one: COMPLEX CULTURE Fresh Start Eyeshadow Palette. I was more than happy to get this in my bag but I have so many palettes, this one has got lost in the mix…might be time to reach for it again. It’s great for traveling!
