October Favourites - 2016

Hi Blondies!

I can't wait for tomorrow! - let the Christmas festivities begin!! Before I jump right into all the holiday shenanigans here are a few things I have been LOVING this past month.

As mentioned before I've been loving my Pumpkin Fireside candle from Bath and Body Works it's the one time of year I go nuts for pumpkin, but in all honesty one candle is enough pumpkin for an entire house!

With the house filled with pumpkin I do like to occasionally indulged in pumpkin treats as well but I do find the white girl classic PSL a bit too sweet after a while, I prefer an Americano Misto with a pump of pumpkin just for that little hint of holiday. It's also a little kinder on a wallet on a budget.

Next is a treat from our southern friends - Nutter Butters!! Over the past decade my dad has traveled often to the states for business however it has never occurred to me to ask for treats up until now. One thing about me is I'm quite the Cookie Monster but out of the various flavours of Oreos I have tried Nutter Butters still win overall!!

Now to burn off all those treats I have been committed to going to Lagree, ideally 2-3 times a week, the best way for me to describe this class is Pilates on steroids. It's only a 45 min workout but Man! do you feel it especially the day after...and the day after that.

The best part about post work-out is the fact that it's BATH TIME... literally the two worst words on the planet I could ever imagine when I was a kid but now it's all I look forward to at the end of the day! My favourite part of baths is choosing the scent/mood of it. This is usually created by one of Lush's deliciously scented bath bombs.

Just before winding down for the night or if I happen to feel under the weather I like to grab my "rolling farmacy" kit from Saje. This includes a peppermint halo which is used for headaches and tension relief. Next in the kit is immune which is designed to help relieve cold and flu symptoms. And last but not least is eater's digest which is designed to help with...well tummy troubles.

Next one is from this months Ipsy bag! The nudestix concealer, I LOVE it for traveling - I have had a few early mornings and a couple of road trips where I don't want to get ready until I have reached my destination. The best part of this pencil is that it is a super blendable formula no brush needed I just use the pad of my finger and voila bye bye under eye luggage.

Onto more fashioney (if that's a word) things.

Let's start from head to toe,

Wool Jumpers... need I say more. With chilly weather making a name for itself I have started to hibernate more and more, there's nothing better then cuddling under a nice warm turtleneck with a big mug of coffee on cool mornings next to the fire or at a local coffee shop.

When the autumn sun starts playing tricks it becomes hard to guess what the day is going to turn out to be. My City Bound Wrap from lululemon is the ultimate top layer for this funny weather - this jacket is built with Spacer material designed to temperature regulate so as the day cools off you stay warm.

Last but not least and probably the most anticipated piece this month for me is my Sorel out n about boots, with an early snowfall I sprung into action quickly to make sure I didn't end up with cold feet, because if that happens I am one grumpy human.

That's all for this month!

Big Love, thebrokeblonde xo
