Outfit Inspo - The Flight Attendant
Last month we started something new, we pick a trending show and pull outfits from the series and find out how you can create them yourself! This month we chose season two of the Flight Attendant. Aside from the uniform, which is all to familiar — we decided to pull items from Cassie Bowden’s wardrobe.
Working from left to right, our first look is from the Season 2 premiere episode. The dust pink coat we chose is the Only Coat by Wilfred from Aritzia. This retails for $350 CAN, and is available for purchase through afterpay. A few more affordable options include, Oversized Soft-Brushed Overcoat from Old Navy that retails for $89.99 CAN and for a limited time is 50% off! Or if you collect PC Points check out the Notch Collar Coat from Joe Fresh. Both of these are eligible for additional cash back through Rakuten! …did I mention you can also get $30 CASH BACK.
There are multiple trousers available, for a more sustainable option there’s the I AM STRONG trousers from Nicole & Rose these retail for $248 CAN, another option is the Tailored Wide Leg Pants from Abercrombie & Fitch these retail for $112 CAN with occasional discounts, including FALL15. The classic turtlenecks have been harder to find, I picked mine up from Nordstrom Rack but I found one similar from Artizia, the Freshman Turtleneck which retails for $40 CAN.
Now we’re going to fast forward through the season to episode 6 for the second look, the blue coat is from Dynamite . In the episode, Cassie is pairing the coat with a hint of whimsy, with a fun sweater underneath and some fun trousers, these ones are a steal, from Hollister these Ultra High-Rise Plaid Mom Pants are on sale for $16.48 CAN!
Lastly, we’re hopping back to episode 5 for this outfit, jeans can be classic Wedgie Straight Fit from Levi’s or Abercrombie & Fitch’s Ultra High Rise Ankle Straight Jean. For the stripped shirt there are a couple of options, I bought mine a few years back from Dynamite, which I’m sure you could find again. Other places include Nordstrom, Women's Everyday Stripe Poplin Button-Up Shirt which retails for $69 USD or the Riley II Tailored Shirt from Banana Republic that retails for $90 CAN…don’t forget to include the 2.0% Cash Back and $30 Welcome Bonus from Rakuten! Finally, the white coat is the Adira coat from Aritzia retailing for $268 CAN.
There’s one other item I wanted to add which is also from the premiere episode and it’s the pink sweater, which can also be paired with the jeans mentioned above. The closest I could find is this one from Get Plenty.
I’ve totaled it up for you and all three outfits (including the sweater ) is approximately: 1396 on the high end and 959 on the low end…not including cash back. With the cash back you could get another $36.25 off!
