Sangria - The Rosé Way

I like my wine there is no way around it... However I do believe there are more "social wines" versus "dinner wines".

Today's spotlight is Seduction by Northern Lights from Prince George British Colombia.

This is a strawberry rhubarb wine, so that's what I based the theme of the sangria on, I chopped up some fresh rhubarb and defrosted some frozen strawberries and popped them into a glass with ice, and poured over some wine. Now as sangria usually has a mixture of pop and juices, depending on how you create it I thought I would change it up I bit and used a local kombucha company as my mix, they have a seasonal flavour that is strawberry, so it worked out perfectly!

With the leftover I had I froze it and a few hours later I picked out the rhubarb and gave it a quick pulse in the blender to make a frosé!!
