FabFitFun - Summer Box 2017

Hello Hello! I am back.

After taking a bit of a hollyday, I am back in full swing. Today I am going to walk you through my FabFitFun Box for the summer!

This a quarterly subscription of 49.99 US. This seasons box was worth $272.

I will say I was slightly disappointed because I have pre-paid for the entire year to become a select member. This gives you the opportunity to select your items and receive the first shipment, mine however was missed and not only did I not get it until the end of August I also didn’t get what I had chosen.

Rant is now over here’s what I got!

1) Michael Stars Ruana: Value $54. This scarf is able to be used in three ways. A sarong, a shawl or a scarf. I received the black and white one (as pictured). As a select member I was able to choose between Black and White, Orange and Purple and Blue and White,  as I have a classic still (aka boring) I went with the Black and White.

2)  BKR Bottle (500ml) in the Shade Romeo: Value $35.This is a cute little glass water bottle, I quite like this one because the drinking hole is smaller than most other water bottles so if you're clumsy like me there's less of a chance of spillage. The options for the bottle were pink or blue, I went Blue.

3) Art Kit! Value $22 This includes an art canvas, miniature paints and paint brushes. I was a little disappointed when I received this, because it was not what I had originally chosen, I had picked out their "On the road again travel set" but they forgot to send my box so I had to do what was left. I'm sure I'll be able to find a way to put the canvas to use.

4) Klorane Dry Shampoo with Oat Milk: Value $20. Again, I chose the “03 Soothe and Cool Massage Oil”, but once I received the dry shampoo in my box I was quite happy I didn't get the oil as I put dry shampoo to use much more often than massage oil, I am more than pleased to have this life saver on my vanity.

5) Cargo Cosmetics Picture Perfect Highlighter in the shade Bronze: Value $30. This came in at a perfect time as I just hit pan on my usual highlight although this one has a beautiful glow to it, it is SUPER powdery I would high recommend a sink near by or else you will end up with a very shiny floor. This has a more subtle glow than I am used to, so I ended up switching Highlights with a friend of my who had recently bought one too shiny for her taste.

6) Juice Beauty Smoothing Eye Concentrate: Value $29 This is designed to soothe and hydrate the under eyes. I have never used this product before but I look forward to using it, the only downside is that my bottle ended up with a bent straw causing the pump not to work.

7) Kris Nations Mystic Bar Necklace: Value $29 I chose the gorgeous howlite one, according to the intention of the necklace it is designed to enhance intuition, and calmness. I picked this one because once again I don't do colour and this was a nice white stone.

8) Eau Thermale Avene Ultra Light Hydrating Sunscreen Lotion SPF 50+: Value $24. Nothing better in summer than to receive sunscreen, I am personally horrible and remembering to re-apply but it makes it easier when it doesn't have that greasy sunscreen feeling. Even nicer when you don't have to go out on a separate trip and buy it!

9) Lastly is Vital Proteins Marine Collagen Sample, I have always been anxious to try it mainly because I was concerned about a "fishy" taste and the tub itself is not cheap, so I was pleased to give it a whirl and although there was no taste, I was pleased to see Vital Proteins also sells what they call beauty water, which does come in a various of refreshing flavours, I tried the mint and melon, and I will be purchasing it again.
