Tomato Girl

We started the season craving the bronz-y glow of the latte look, then wanted something fresh as we stepped into our lemon era, followed by the influence of Hailey Bieber with the Strawberry Girl making us all run for the peptide lip tint and now as we reach fall we’re soaking up the last of the summer in our Tomato Girl Aesthetic — here’s what we’ve curated.

Dresses:

When it comes to dresses we want to welcome the autumnal tones while still enjoying the warmth of summer so we selected this beautiful affordable orange dress from Joe Fresh, along with this long-sleeve linen belted dress. The lightweight fabric balanced with the long-sleeves is the perfect dress for an late September evening.

Shoes:

Things we thought would never return, include ballet flats, but sure enough we are seeing them pop up all over TikTok, so we may as well embrace it — When it comes to trending items, we don’t always like to splurge so we’re returning to Joe Fresh to pick up these shoes, along with some heeled sandals. The thing we love about these pieces is they can go with either dress creating up to 4 different outfits depending on the activity! As avid travellers we like to think “carry-on only” outfits, and these will get you the mileage you need.

Accessories:

No outfit is complete with out accessories, we love a toss-all bag during season changes so we always have a spare cardigan or change of shoes as the day goes on, the textile on this one from Joe Fresh is one of our favourites this season, with the woven texture but still with an interesting pattern.

Other pieces we think add to the look are these fun cat-eye glasses from Amazon and this scarf also from amazon, there are a variety of colour ways but we felt this one fits best for the “tomato girl” aesthetic.
