Zoella Beauty - Splash Botanics Review

Hello Hello,

I know it's been a while since my last review. I always ping pong between whether or not I should do them, because to be honest reviews can get costly especially at my stage in the game. There's so many new products to try it gets hard to keep up and it can get disheartening  feeling like you're always behind the eight ball.

Last year I tried my best to keep up by picking 3 new launches a month and ipsy bags although it kept me in budget I still ended up with a surplus of makeup. So I cancelled my Ipsy subscription and decided 2018 would be my year to reduce my makeup "closet" and only buy the things that I "need". I use this term lightly because I still have multiple palettes, lotions and other potions.

Anyways, enough of my ranting, time to chat about what you came here  for... the review.

Although Zoella Beauty is already showing sneakpeaks of their Christmas collection I recently got my hands on her summer collection. I didn't buy it all as some of it is unavailable and I am super specific when it comes to scents so I didn't pick up the fragrance. I did pick up the Lip Oil, Bath Milk, Bubble Bath and Body Wash.

The Lip Oil is probably my favourite out of the line. It's not sticky like a gloss but gives a beautiful sheen and gives nice hydration to the lips. It is also super affordable at London Drugs. Another nice thing about the Lip Oil is there is no overpowering scent to it unlike some other lip products.

Next is the Bath Milk, which I haven't had time to use it but if it's anything like the bubble bath I know I am in for a treat. The Bubble Bath smells fantastic the perfect mix of sweet and fresh, and most of all makes loads of bubbles to make my bath feel extra luxurious. I find it harder and harder to find bubble bath, it's usually shower gel or body wash combo. I love the fact this is a separate product.

Next is the Body Wash, this again has the same scent to the rest of the line. The formula is alot thicker than most I have come across but it is super hydrating and my skin feels so soft and smooth post shower/bath. I would highly recommend it to give your skin some love.

All the products purchase were under $15 CAN/ each. They are great products for the price range and I would recommend the line to anyone looking for a lux feel for a high street budget.

Big Love, thebrokeblonde xo
