I’m back! I bet you thought I completely forgot about this seasons box! Well I’m here to tell it’s here.
I’m sorry for the delay, there was a slight hiccup with my box. As a select member I purchase the entire year in advance and this allows me to pick and choose certain products in my box. Well when it came in late September I realized 3 out 5 choice items were wrong so I had to wait while they sent me the correct items.
I also picked up some add-ons. These are usually sent with the box but are an additional cost. I chose a Pumpkin Spice Tin Mug, Summer and Rose Weekender Duffel and Elemis Superfood Travel Kit ( day cream, night cream , Face Wash and Facial Oil.
Time for what was in the box:
Skin&Co Roma Blue in Capri Shower Gel. This has a nice fresh scent, so would be a great re-gift if it doesn’t interest you, as it isn’t particularly heavy. I kept it for myself this time around. This item was included in everyone’s box select member or not.
Simply Whimsical Set of 2 Tea Towels, this too was included in all the fall boxes. I was thinking about putting these to use as a stocking stuffer for my mum, but she ended up peaking through the box with me soooo I decided to put them to use right away.
Glam Glow Bubblesheet Oxygenated Deep Cleanse Mask x2. I have yet to use these, but I’ve never tried anything like it before so I’m kind of excited, I’ve seen loads of YouTube videos with bubble masks and they look like fun, just gotta wait for the perfect girls night.
Beauty blender, I’m obsessed with these for makeup application, I have gone through several already and they are $30 a pop so I was more than pleased to get one in my box! Not only saves me money, and covers half the cost of the box in itself but it’s also useful!
This is where things get a little messy, one of the first options was a Vince Camuto Luck Tote in either black or brown OR Crown Brush Set in either Black or Silver, I asked for the Black Brushes and they sent me a brown tote. I did end up getting the brushes and I quite like them! And mum decided to take the tote and use it to haul her work load.
Next was either a Catherine Malandrino umbrella with the choice between two patterns or Bluetooth headphones in either black or white, I asked for white and they sent Black, I will probably put one in a giveaway so keep your eyes peeled!
This one they got right! Select members had the choice of a teapot or a French press, being a huge tea drinker I chose the French press... physc! Haha I have so much tea stuff I thought the French press would be put to good use, and it does, perfect for Saturday brunch always a great brew.
Back to the shipping error, there was a selection between yogahhh bath salts, farmacy eye cream or touch in sol lipstick duo. They sent the Bath Salts (which will still come to good use), but I chose the Farmacy Eye Cream which did finally arrive, this was a $38 value (USD).
And lastly was a variety of Grown Alchemist between, Hydra-Restore Cream Cleanser, Hydra-Repair Day Cream or Facial Exfoliant, I got the day cream as we’re coming into winter. I have still yet to decide if I’m going to keep it for myself... it is an $49 value (USD).
The total of my original box would have been 298.99 (not including add ons).
