Jilly Box - Fall 2021
Jilly Box is back!
I’ve been working on my planning and scheduling, so I’m proud to say this is only a couple weeks out from when my box actually arrived!
This is box lucky number 7, and here’s what’s inside! Before we jump right on in, while I love, if not most of the items I do get in the box many are available outside the box for retail price, so if you happen to be scrolling and only want a single item I would suggest visiting the links provided as they might still be in stock! This box has increased price over time and now sells for $199 CAN so it is quite an investment. I also want to make you aware of this subscription box, and all others on the market while most items are bought at a wholesale cost to give you a better discount my speculation is that there are further discounts or offers provided to influencers and celebrities so I wouldn’t make the assumption that the overall value of the box is what they pay to create it or has an effect on the quality of the products.
Over my time as a subscriber to various bocxes, I have been pleased with the steady value and quality I have seen throughout the Jilly Box and while I have been tempted to cancel the subscription due to cost, I enjoy seeing what’s inside and being able to share with you my thoughts and opinions on each item!
Blue light glasses from Poppies and Peonies retail: $45, these glasses are designed in collaboration with Jillian Harris and while I love the colour and even the frames themselves, two week prior to the box reveal I bought myself 3 pairs off Amazon for $20, so as much as I want to keep them I have decided to put them in my giveaway box for a later date.
Super cozy leopard blanket from One Wednesday, retail: $65, while it could be used as a blanket or scarf, I am mostly likely going to use it as a blanket it’s 73 by 49.5 inches, so perfect to cuddled up with or have in the office for those cooler fall days.
The Pack Rucksack from Fawn, retails for $139.99 while the limited edition colour way for the Jilly Box was Weathered Brown (now sold out) there are still 4 more colours available including Brown and Blush! This was my favourite product in this seasons box, and I have already put it to great use!
The Everything Journal from Love Powered Co., retails for 29.95, I have heard about Love Powered Co before from, if I remember correctly, the Birds Papaya Podcast, as their main product is empowerement cards. I do like the format of a promenting journal, however, I am not great with the follow through, I am still working my way through my Start Today Journals from the Hollis Co.
Pens from Love Powered Co, retails for $15, you can’t have a journal without new pens! I love the colour palette of this set and I do like the way it writes however, fidgity me already mangage to break one of the pens by twisting to much when I was sat at my desk…oops.
Blume Pumpkin Spice, Sample Size, Full Size (serves 30) retails for $25, while it can be drunk only with your favourite steamed milk, I added it to my coffee to make a less sweet PSL, and it worked splendidly.
Elate Lip Colour in Ardant, retails for $22 I currently have had one from the Experience Box from The Atelier, so this one too will be added into the Giveaway pile.
Pink Speckled Ceramic Travel Mug from Tav Ceramics retails for $54, this beautiful mug is still available and there are also many similar styles! Just a heads up due to the nature of the materials it is NOT microwavable and handwash is recommended, so if you’re someone like me who warms up their coffee several times day be sure to switch mugs, OR take time to drink your coffee hot while you write in your new journal!
Keep Goin’ Room Spray from KPure, retails for $21. I am a big Saje Fan so I have no doubt I’ll enjoy this room spray from Kpure. I am trying by best to use things up before starting new products, which has proven to be quite difficult considering I love getting new things, but at the moment this room spray is patiently waiting in the wings to be used.
And that’s a wrap for this season’s unboxing! What products are you tempted to buy? or if you bought the box too what was your favourite item inside?
