May Favourites

Hello Blondies!
While the days seem to be blurring together I can’t believe we are already at the end of the month! I don’t know about you but I these past couple of weeks I have begun to found it really hard for me to stay motivated, I think in my subconscious I thought this would be a “4-6 week” thing, you know 2 weeks of the world being on shut down should really do the trick…we are now leading strong into week 8 and while it’s exciting to see the world slowly open back up, I am anxious to get “back” to the “real” world…even though to be honest we’re not getting anything “back” we can only move forward with the new… Wow that was a touch heavy but now that’s off my chest let’s chat about something a bit more delightful shall we?

Speaking of the itch of getting back out of the house I have been really enjoying drives and listening to audiobooks on audible this month has included Fight to Flourish by Jennie Lusko and a second listening of Get Out Of Your Own Way by Dave Hollis…if you haven’t already, I have designed a completely virtual bookclub that is free to join!

That brings me to the next thing I have been loving which is Flodesk, it keeps my workflows organized and now with the online shop open it really allows me to send out personalized Thank You emails in a timely matter, which is a priority for me. If you are looking to streamline your email processing, I have a link for you which will get you 50% for subscription!

While my emails have energy I too need energy especially being home, I have relied on B12, workouts from Tone It Up…nothing new there! and Handfuel Nuts, I saw this on Instagram and as they are a Canadian company I just had to try! And I am like a vacuum cleaner…I have been eating them non-stop, I already have my second order ready for placement, they are current 20% off so it’s worth a try (or at least I think so), my favourites are the Walnuts & Berries, Salted Caramel Cashews & Pistachios.

Now that the sun is coming out a bit more often I have been spending more time outside reading books, including Jessica Janzen’s new release Bring the Joy along with a cold glass of Blackberry Bubbly! As for the evenings I do like a glass of wine but I try to keep that for the weekends and I love having the Four Sigmatic hot chocolate before bed which includes reishi mushrooms, and you can find it at Save-On Foods.

As stores are starting to open I of course had to hop into Homesense and recently picked up a few more vases so I can transplant the fruit and veg from my click and grow…and one is currently holding my scrunchies until I can find a better way of having them organized. I have really been enjoying re-organizing my living and workspace, even though I am still home and will most likely be grounded for another couple of months it is a nice “change of scenery” even if it’s just a new plant or picture. With the modernmarket being postponed in Calgary all the vendors offered various discounts so their products so I managed to pick up a new mug from Keramikk (which has become my hot chocolate mug) and a beautiful wooden picture from Inspired Findings and I’ve decided I want 3 so I have already placed a custom order for the next one and I am kicking myself for not ordering 2 at the same time because she only takes a limited amount of customs each month!

One thing that brings me a little bit of joy each week is my baths, I have been loving LeLabo products, I have their rose scent and it makes my bath feel so much more luxurious especially when I add bath salts from Surf Soak which was in the Spring Jilly Box.
Alright, that’s my monthly round up! What have you been loving this month? Let me know over on Instagram!
