September Monthly Favourites
Did you know when you type “Basic” into google, the top definition is : Basic. An adjective used to describe any person, place, activity involving obscenely obvious behaviour, dress, action. Unsophisticated. Transparent motives. (Thanks Urban Dictionary)
So all in all me, therefore some of these favourites may not come as a surprise.
Let's start off with beauty items:
Brown/Nude lippie, the two most popular colours I've been using are Cognac by Bite and Soft Spoken by NYX.
Another beauty item is a good moisturizer. I've been using the Rose Deep Hydrating Face Cream from Fresh, I love the scent of the roses and it's been keeping my face nice and soft in this dry climate as the weather is changing.
Next is clothing items:
I usually run on the cooler side, so anything with sleeves catches my attention. I personally love long sleeve dresses. I also love layering up with big coats and scarves, this particular scarf is from AVOCA in Ireland.
Fall booties are another #basic necessity, I have a pair of charcoal booties that I bought a few years back when Target was still a thing in Canada, which are so well loved they had to be sent out to get mended, this year that's how much I love them. However this year I snagged a brown pair of buckle booties from Winners, made by Blowfish that I absolutely love as well!
Onto random bits and bobs:
September has been a pretty big month, I received a gorgeous Radley London handbag which I have been using non-stop.It is also the month that my phone contract ended, which means....NEW PHONE!!! Now for me this means the second oldest model, I'm always one behind the times. I got the Iphone 6S which I love, yet still struggling to figure out some of the features.
Speaking of features....or apps to be more correct I am really enjoying Snapchat. I have always enjoyed playing around snapchat and it's fun filters however, with ALL of my people disappearing this semester its been a great way to keep connected no matter the time difference, be it 3,8 or 18 hours ahead!
Last but not least is foodie items, nothing too special here I love black coffee, especially as the mornings get cooler it's nice to wake up to a warm caffeinated hug. One thing that makes a cup of coffee that much more special is pumpkin Oreos... yes you read that right and yes they are delicious. (possibly better than girl guide cookies)
That is about it.
OH! Wait, I've been listening to Closer by The Chainsmokers on repeat...but who hasn't.
Okay Now I am done!
